As you know, our Ambassador Sunday School Class (3rd - 5th graders) coordinated a fundraising coffee hour in support of IOCCs efforts to aid Syrians affected by the tragedy unfolding in their country.   Thanks to your generosity, we raised $750 which will be matched by USAID and the United Nations Relief agencies 7 fold.

When we told IOCC that our parish contribution to Syrian relief efforts was coordinated by the Ambassadors, Dean Triantafilou, the Executive Director and CEO of IOCC, wrote a hand written note addressed to the children.  He also sent along mementos for them to remember that they helped make a difference in the lives of children who are very much like they are.  This will be shared with the children and their families when classes resume on January 12.
