Dear faithful,

Glory to Jesus Christ! As all of you know Governor Kemp, in his decree for the state of Georgia, left open the possibility for churches to worship under certain parameters. I just received a blessing from our chancellor to serve a few of the upcoming Divine Services. We will have vespers on Friday at 4:00, Vesperal Liturgy on Holy Saturday at 9:00 AM, and Paschal Liturgy on Sunday at 10:00 AM. However, by the decision of the Diocese, and in keeping with the decrees of the state, we will be limited to 5 people at each of these services. The 5 people have to be the same each time, in order to decrease the risk of the spread of Covid-19. Also, we will have Sunday Liturgies using these same rules until further notice.

Someone asked me about the blessing of baskets, but that will not be possible as it would bring too many people to the location. Sing the Paschal troparion 3X, and bless your basket with Holy Water “ In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit! Amen!” in your home.

Please know that all of your remain in my prayers, and will be remembered at proskomede.

With love in Christ,
Fr. Cyprian
